Fwd: [Seed Bank] Seed Exchange May 25th- Quinoa and Amaranth!

May 25th  West County Community Seed Exchange Monthly Gathering

Join us for a full morning of helping in the seed garden to finish planting our summer crops and then learn about growing and processing the sacred grains amaranth and quinoa.

9 to 10:30-  Work in the Seed Garden, please bring tools and gloves

9 to 11- Seed Library open for seed check out- lots of seed available!

11 to 12- Class on Growing and Processing  Quinoa and Amaranth - two pseudo grains that grow great in our climate, are really good for you and just take a little work to make them edible. Both the greens and the grain of these are edible and they are beautiful also!
