Power Balls Recipe from "The Male Herbal" by James Green

from the book...

"The following recipe manifests a collection of ingredients that help provide a man with a continual store of energy.  It contains nutrients that are supportive for the male yang energy and is formulated to nourish and tone the male reproductive system over time.

Combine the following powders in a bowl:
2 tablespoons  Siberian Ginseng powder
2 tablespoons Ginseng powder
1 tablespoon Ginger powder
4 tablespoons bee pollen
6 tablespoons pumpkin seeds (ground)
1 tablespoons sesame seeds (ground)
1 to 2 tablespoons spirulina (a fresh water alga)

Combine in another bowl:
3/4 cup Sesame seed, almond, or peanut butter
1/4 cup honey

Gradually add the first mixture to the second and knead the resulting mixture into a paste.  Add roasted carob powder and, if you like, lightly roasted shredded coconut to sweeten and flavor.  Roll into walnut-size balls and each day eat one before and one after your daily exercises.
