Garden In A Pail: Serially Connected Earthbuckets
These planters are all watered from below via polytubing and with the aid of an automatic timer (sometimes). Experimenting with different soil configurations/ ingredients to lower cost per bucket (adding wicking material in the form of recycled cotton)

Due to the importance of this international event we are cancelling
the West County Community Seed Exchange's class at 11 to encourage
people to join with people all over the world to protest Monsanto's
take over of our food and demand labeling of GMO's.
Saturday May 25th
Gather at Julliard Park in Santa Rosa at 11am
Permitted March from Julliard Park to Courthouse Square for a rally
and speakers.
There are hundreds of protests happening around the world on this day
at the same time.
You can also protest GMO's and Monsanto by getting involved with us-
we are creating the alternative and protecting our seed- join us
Saturday morning in the seed garden for our work party from 9 to
10:30 then head over to Santa Rosa to stand against Monsanto.

May 25th West County Community Seed Exchange Monthly Gathering
Join us for a full morning of helping in the seed garden to finish planting our summer crops and then learn about growing and processing the sacred grains amaranth and quinoa.
9 to 10:30- Work in the Seed Garden, please bring tools and gloves
9 to 11- Seed Library open for seed check out- lots of seed available!
11 to 12- Class on Growing and Processing Quinoa and Amaranth - two pseudo grains that grow great in our climate, are really good for you and just take a little work to make them edible. Both the greens and the grain of these are edible and they are beautiful also!
